We’re all trying our best to be protected in the sun and try those anti-aging methods to reduce our chances of prematurely aging. The sun is an amazing resource and I personally love to be in the sun, topping up my vitamin D. However, I’m also light skinned which means I’m prone to burning, but my family heritage means I can keep a tan if I wish. A 2022 study found that “UPF textiles worked significantly better than sunscreen when it comes to its overall UV-protective capacity. “The four textiles provided superior UVR protection when compared to the two sunscreens tested. All fabrics blocked erythemogenic UVR better than the sunscreens, as measured by SPF, UPF, and % UVB-blocking.
